Here we have for sale a rare and original 2 digit sandcast Honda CB750 K0. A day one assembled machine with Frame CB750-100028 and Engine CB750E-100132. This is an ORIGINAL matching frame/engine bike, which was sold in California, USA, and other than the 6 years I’ve owned this motorcycle, spent it entire life in that US State. I have the original black Ca number plate, US title and a large collection of photographs of the machine and its unique features, details of works undertaken to recommission and so on. l also will provide to interested parties a more detailed history of the motorcycle and what work I've had done to bring this bike back to its current condition. Early Sandcast SpecsFor those that are not familiar with these early machines, the first 100 or so had some very unique features. Hand turned master cylinder cap, waffle cast cam cover, unique rear swing arm, no hole rear hub, cast rear brake cover, cast sprocket cover and other rare and unique items. This machine has all these features intact. There are no reproduction parts of significance on this motorcycle. Everything is as it was supplied by the Honda company except items that needed replacing. The only major works done is the professional repaint and freeing up of the locked engine. The bike has been deep cleaned and detailed. This motorcycle is as good as anything I’ve seen in over 30 years of playing with sandcast models, and there are very few under 100 frame machines left on the planet let alone one with such a low number as this bike. I think this really is the best original early example around. Not bling blinged. The Motorcycle For SaleI have provided high-resolution photographs. The machine for sale is as you see it and includes the original engine, original tool kit, early owners manual and a US title (useless to anyone outside the US). The tyres are hard and cracked and are as they came with her. Rear is an early K87 and front is a period type Nitto. Tyres are cheap enough to buy I know, but I liked these for the patina and the air is original.Specifically, this machine has early (and rare) scalloped exhaust spigots, thin lip alternator cover, an extremely rare no hole rear hub, notched (not cast) chain adjuster rear swing arm, sandbox made rear brake cover, sandbox made sprocket cover, sandbox made cam chain adjuster, early genuine instruments, genuine original and solid Lotus Root exhaust, very rare and original small vent/ long choke arm carbs, 4mm side cover badges, early petcock, 19 litre fuel/gas tank, rare no indent 2 hole airbox, knurled disc caliper bolts, early switchgear, 11mm double logo mirrors, early square cast brake pedal, red foam/early pan seat and original cover, double cut front mudguard/fender, smooth ferule/smooth pipe oil lines, fat (and original) exhaust clamps, ultra rare waffle cast cam cover, round rear rim, short chain guard, early welded rear foot pegs including Honda logo rubbers, early speedo and tacho drives, early short screw speedo and tacho cable ends, no line (and not a fake) master cylinder, short banjo brake lines, gre left side horn, original 040 wiring, original, single row Stanley indicator lenses, absolutely correct new side cover oil decal, 50% original California air to front and rear tyres (tires) There are some 90 odd differences between the early sandcasts and later K0 machines and this machine has them all. It’s a unique and rare 2-digit motorcycle that’s rarely seen for sale these days. If I’ve missed or forgotten stuff, just ask and I’ll answer. Please don’t send me negative comments or correct me about my description, as I know as much as anyone about these early sandcast motorcycles. Go to cb750sandcastonly.com website if you want more information on any sandcast topic. Email me if you have a need to discuss anything, need another photo or two or want to tell me your expert friend says I don't know anything. I’m good to go with any of that.I will sell this motorcycle to any country. I will assist to ship anywhere after the lettuce is in the bank and do whatever to assist the new owner to have this machine delivered in a secure way including delivery to a shipper. My labor and love is free but shipping cost, taxes and your partner’s wrath or not my problem, but then, anything is for sale at a price. Definitely no partner trades though. The motorcycle is for sale worldwide so if it sells the listing will be cancelled. The last 2 digit bike I saw sold, which wasn’t nearly as complete as 28, sold for better than $50k so my price is better than reasonable. Finally; I've just had a month of my time wasted by someone who had the champagne taste, but alas, only had the beer pocket . The price is what it is and I'm not taking low ball offers. If you really want to know about this machine then talk to me via email and get my number. I don't bite. Shipping This motorcycle can be shipped anywhere from the Brisbane port in Australia and the price crated will be between $1000 to $1500 (Yes that's a great shipping price). Taxes, customs clearance charges and shipping at the other end will be the buyers responsibility
