For your consideration is this project, non-running '72 CB500 in Candy Jade Green. Original condition motorcycle. Motor kicks through. I have not taken the time to get this running. Title in hand. I bought this motorcycle as a potential Winter project for myself (amongst other projects). I just picked a Honda small capacity two cylinder project for my son and I would like to clear this from my storage garage. Good looking project. No dents whatsoever in the tank. There is tank rust - - I am currently working on having that removed. Aftermarket four into two exhaust. There are a few holes in the exhausts that are not seen in these photographs. The right hand side cover is cracked as seen in the photographs. The left hand side cover is virtually perfect. Seat in very good condition. I was told that this motorcycle spent a lot of time indoors as a window display for a business in Iowa. Telling on this motorcycle is the frame - it is remarkably rust free. This is a bike worth saving and getting on the road. Title matches VIN on the headstock. Mileage is believed to be original. No warranties expressed nor implied. This auction is for the motorcycle (and title not seen in the photographs) only. No extra parts come with this motorcycle. I have three other CB500/550 variants and can tell you that these (and the CB350 four(s)) are my absolute favorites. Paypal deposit of $250 due within 24 hours of auction end. Balance due within seven days of the close of auction. I will not release the motorcycle until funds have cleared. I may be able to assist with delivery - I do have access to a trailer. If I did trailer it to you, I would expect some agreed to payment for delivery (at least to cover gas costs, tolls, and some local 12 pack of beer). Motorcycle is located near my home on the far northwest side of Chicago. Happy bidding! Take this project off my hands...
