Thanks for looking at my 1976 Honda CB500T. This bike is being sold with no reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder. I set out to create a nice rider that had a slight café racer feel, but still maintained the original look. Something that you would have to take a second glance to notice the small differences. As the pictures show, it is in great condition, just the normal wear for a bike this age. Take a look at the bottom of the write up, I have posted two videos of the bike. One, showing a cold start and walk around, and the other is a quick ride around my neighborhood. I have included pictures both in the shade and in the sun to show how much dimension the tank has. The tank and side panels have all the original paint and decals. It is very clean inside and out. In the shade, the paint is a deep, rich burgundy and in the sun, the Candy Antares really shines through. The seat is all original, as well. The foam is comfortable and all still intact. The cover has no rips or tears, and the chrome trim really shines. Since the restoration, I have put about 25 miles on the bike and it rides really nice. It starts right up, has no leaks or any strange noises and pulls great through all the gears. It is surprisingly light and maneuverable. With the all new front braking system and new pads, the bike stops well and feels solid and responsive,no more spongy brake feel. The handlebars are fully adjustable and can be tailored to fit your height and riding style preference. If you wanted, you could actually flip them around to put them at the factory height. The original owner’s manual is included and stored under the seat.During the restoration over the past few months, the items on the lists below have either been done to the bike, or installed. I have pictures from throughout the restoration that I can send if you are interested. RECENTLY PERFORMED SERVICES: Front & Rear Pads Installed & Brakes Adjusted. Timing Set. Valves Set. EMGO Adjustable Clubman Style Handlebar.Bar End Mirrors and Grips While this is an excellent looking bike, and I have done my best to bring it back to its current condition, please keep in mind, it is 44 years old. Some things to note: The tank does have two dings. One on the lower left near the stripe. I believe a paintless dent removal service could massage it out. There is another ding on the left rear that has been touched up. Both pictured. The left exhaust header pipe has a scrape on the top and the left muffler has some etching on the top. The rear passenger pegs have been removed, but I have kept them, along with the original shocks. The headlight is currently not working, but I have another one ordered. Here are two YouTube videos, showing a cold start and walk around, and the other showing a quick ride around my neighborhood. https://youtu.be/mWlOEsr5a1I https://youtu.be/0_bvBcJb6JA If you would like to see anything else, or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll do my best to answer. Full payment must be in hand before the bike leaves my possession. Thanks for looking!
